Gaby is still not happy with her life in spite of all she has achieved, she continues her search for more to this life. On a visit to Glastonbury, the heart chakra of planet Earth a very special place in the Isles of Avalon, she meets Luis Fernando Mostajo, one of the most renowned extra-terrestrial experts of our times. He invites her to Bolivia and visit Tiwanaku and all the sacred places around Lake Titicaca. Gaby embarks on a mystical journey around South America where she meets Erik, her soulmate, and together they embark on the most uplifting spiritual path, through Cusco, the Inca trail, and Machu Picchu. The journey will change her forever and the reader is invited to share in her spiritual and uplifting quest.
Hi, I´m Doris
I was born in Cali, Colombia, educated at the British School Colegio Colombo Británico, studied graphic design at the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogotá and moved to London where I worked at the Colombian Embassy. I later attained a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting at Westminster College in London and currently works for the British Courts and as a Conference Interpreter travelling extensively around the world. I have two sons, two wonderful daughters-in-law and a beautiful granddaughter.
The Trilogy
The Longing is a trilogy based on Gaby, an English woman seeking personal growth and spiritual awakening.
She travels to all corners of the world where she meets with people that will change her life for the better but, she is always longing for more in her life.
In the first book Gaby first walks the Camino de Santiago and then ends her pilgrimage in the Himalayas, where her spiritual growth really starts.
In the second book a more mature Gaby is still longing for more and starts her search for growth in Glastonbury where she meets Luis Fernando Mostajo – one of the most renowned extra-terrestrial experts – and this encounter takes her to South America and the mystical Machu Picchu.
In the third book of this trilogy, And the longing ends… she will travel just a little more before finally realizing that peace lies within.
